Expertise

As experts in dissemination, Beta combines technical knowledge with communication skills to promote research results and project outcomes to a wide range of stakeholder groups. This includes tailoring messages to maximise impact, reaching members of the public, industry, professionals and academics. Beta works in partnership with a range of organisations to deliver outputs such as websites, videos and publications.

Involvement

Beta is the partner responsible for leading the communication, dissemination and exploitation activities within the consortium through work package 6 (Communication and End User Material), and providing support to the tasks involved in work package 1 (Management and Coordination).

This includes maximising the impact of EU PiG through the development and implementation of a coherent communication strategy, throughout the duration of the project and beyond, which incorporates public facing promotion and the publication of end user material.

An integral part of the communication strategy is the EU PiG project website, providing the ‘best practice’ end user materials in ‘user friendly’ ways to pig producers in particular, and all the other various stakeholder groups.
