RPIG (Belgium)
BBPROJ is an initiative of Boerenbond in partnership with Cera and KBC and is the specialized authority for supervising agricultural and horticultural when exploring a new direction for their business.
All agricultural and horticultural farmers from all sectors and from the five Flemish provinces and the eastern provinces can rely on BBPROJ. Also, municipalities, associations or groups of residents from this region are welcome with any questions about their village of the future.

The consultants of the BBPROJ have extensive experience in guiding companies that take steps in the field of innovation. Whether you have questions about the strategy for your company or around energy management in your business, ideas for technological innovations, or perhaps have something completely new in mind ... Also, local authorities or associations wishing to bring a breath of fresh air into their village can contact us.
Involvement
BBProjects is responsible for leading work package 4 (Welfare). In addition to participating in work package 6 (Communication and End User Material), and work package 7 (Regional Knowledge Exchange), as RPIG leader, we’re also looking for best practices who qualify for competing in the EU PIG Grand Prix.

Laurens Vandelannoote, Innovation Consultant
My focus lies on energy efficiency in agriculture. This includes research on new technology’s, making sure that market-ready solutions are implemented in terms of energy saving, energy and smart controls in agriculture. I do that by providing the manager profitability studies of the most interesting technologies for his / her business.
My specialties are small-scale fermentation, optimization of cooling systems and alternative drive systems for heavy vehicles such as biomethane, hydrogen and electricity.
